The 2014 Knight News Challenge asked participants to “harness data and information for the health of communities.” 

This prompt inspired my design of a mobile app to handle life’s trying moments.

inHandy displays standard emergency contact numbers in a highly user‐friendly interface.

The color‐coded design is intended for anyone between the ages of 8 and 80. 

Utilizing data from the Current Location feature in iOS‚ inHandy targets the closest emergency service location‚ saving the user many stressful steps․
